Real Weddings- Custom Napkins

I was looking through cake images, when I came across a cake with the Monogram that I printed on over 300 napkins. It was around this time last year that I made her napkins for her. Sadly I no longer make the custom napkins becuase the Gocco machine has been discontinued.

Just a recommendation for those brides who want custom napkins without the outrageous costs. Buy a custom stamp from an etsy or ebay seller and stamp them yourself iwth oil based Staz-On ink pads. I will be doing this for my own wedding. I just ordered the stamp from Sand Shooters on Etsy. The stamp will have my custom monogram on it and I will use it to stamp on the napkins and coasters. I have also started a new blog that will chronicle my wedding planning with a lot of projects and resources for Northern California Brides: http://norcaldiybride.blogspot.com. Follow it!

Sneak Peek- Accordian Invite

I have a few pictures of a mockup of the accordian invite. I just had to make one quick to find out the postage rate for the bride. I did all the cutting myself so it is bad! The printing is also off for the last panel and the RSVP card (why it looks magenta). I made the mock up of all the rejects so I didn't waste the good pieces!!

Janell's Wedding Invitations

Janell and her groom Mat wanted a different kind of invitation. We decided upon a Z fold or accordian invitation with a pocket. Here is the picture of her inspiration:

We are going to be doing everything in lilac, deep purple and deep blue. The cover and the back will both be a designed cardstock from envelopperinc and the middle accordian part will be sapphire blue. She will have three panels and then an insert and an RSVP in the pocket. They will all be tied together with a bow that will be able to slide off to open up the invite. The supplies all come in this coming week and I can't wait to get working on these and will post a picture of the final product.
Here is a picture of how the inside will look if you spread it all out. There will be the patterened cardstock on the front of the first panel and on the back of the pocket panel

I am so excited to actual start making these invitations. I will post pictures as soon as I have them done!!

Problems with working from home-Puppy

I left the room for no more than 10 minutes to check on how all the painting was going on the front rooms of the house. I put the remaining invites that I was working on, on top of her crate (which has become a new desk for me). I come back and I find Stella on the bed with 20 invite layers ripped up in front of her. For a split second I wanted to kill her since now I have to print out more, get them cut and then be behind schedule for a day. But I couldn't because of the face she was giving me:

Apparently she likes the taste of stardream paper.

How long until puppies stop teething?!?! I have lost 8 pairs of flip flops (granted she only eats my old navy ones not my Reefs or Rainbows), 1 pair of work flats, 1 wallet, 2 credit cards (actually a good thing, now I won't use them) and my laptop cord. Yet she won't eat anything of Tony's.... what gives!!

Corin's Boarding Pass Save the Dates

She chose to use BlueBell cardstock for the cover and sent me her monogram that Jessica at Jessica's Design Shop made for her. Check out her shop for great monogram designs. We also used her monogram on her magnets (not pictured) that I printed for her. She had two boarding passes to hold all of the information she needed to provide to her guests. Along with computer calligraphy for her mailing addresses.
